This past Monday evening was just like any other, it was the end of the day and I was getting ready for bed until I received a phone call from my cousin Diana, Brian's sister. "Oh God, Oh my God!"...
I had spent a great deal of time this past year with my cousin Brian being that both of our boys played football together on the same team & the friendship, the bond we had as kids was just like 'old times'.
We talked so much everyday we were together good, bad, happy & sad.
My cousin was a hard working man, he started working at fifteen years old.
I remember him saying how proud he was to have bought a home & provide for the love of his love and his
three wonderful boys. He loved to create music & played in a band. However, his music wasn't "my choice" of music {but he knew that anyway}. I would listen to it when he asked what I thought. Brian expressed alot of his feelings through the music he wrote. He was the lead singer of his band.
Brian played football when he was younger & loved football his entire life.
His passion for football just continued greatly when his two older son's started to play as well.
He was so involved he was there at every practice and game. I'm sure the parents & friends whom were in the bleachers with us remember he was the "loud one" that always chanted the team on!! Running back & forth following the team as they played up & down the field.
Brian met his sweetheart, his love of his life. Yes, he loved his wife of 16 years. He talked so much of his love for her how she was best friend. His soul mate & that, she was!
They have three beautiful children together & loved them all so much.
Not to take his love away from any of his children, we all know their middle child, Brandon was Brian's little
minnie-me. He was so much like Brian in every way. He had Brian's black hair & big brown eyes where their other two children have blond hair & blue eyes.
I remember Brian telling me that Brandon was always with his him, having the same interest as him. I remember Brian telling me that he would ask Brandon, where's your friends at buddy. Because he always wanted to be with his daddy. In which of course Brian loved & cherished every moment.
He told me that Brandon would love to work out with him and how they ran the track together as well and that they had a resting point to reach and would cheer each other on if one was getting to tired.
{Brian & his sister}
His momma & his baby sister was everything to him. He sadly lost his mom to Lou Gehrig's Disease {ALS}
so all that was left of his immediate family was his sister, Diana. He loved having family time with her, having bbq's together & just good ole memory making moments. I remember him telling me that their brother/sister relationship was closer than ever before. He loved her so much.
Brian & Jenny just recently lost their middle child Brandon. His minnie-me, one of his many "everything"
The entire family was torn unthinkable of his tragic death & wanted to wake from their nightmare they were living. Within the two months & two days of Brandon's death & up until Brian's passing.

The pain became very insufferable.
